Actions and Attacks

  • Bloody Slash: r2-k4 Physical. If the target loses any HP they are marked as 'bleeding' for the rest of the scene. Bloodcrows prefer targets that are bleeding. Used while in a Murder.
  • Eat Flesh: r6-k3 Physical. Make a diving attack to strip and eat the flesh of a 'bleeding' target. Used while not in a Murder.
  • Murder of Crows: Group up with 2 ore more Bloodcrows to work together. You attack as one instead of individually. This combines your dice pool. Maximum of a group of 6.
  • Flee Feint (Reaction): When you are melee atttacked, spend your Reaction to make a quick feint to avoid the attack. Roll 1D, if the result is 5 or 6 the attack misses. Cannot be used while in a Murder.

Description

Bloodcrows are large, predatory birds that hunt in sinister packs of four to six. With razor-sharp talons and hooked beaks, they excel at inflicting deep, bleeding wounds. Swift and merciless, they swoop down to pin prey beneath their weight before tearing into still-living flesh.

Each Bloodcrow spans 4 to 6 feet in wingspan and weighs 10 to 20 pounds. Their sleek, dark, iridescent feathers grant natural camouflage, letting them vanish into the shadows until they strike.

These birds prefer prey that is wounded or isolated, pursuing it with relentless, calculated precision. When gathered in a “Murder,” their coordinated pack tactics make them far deadlier, overwhelming even seasoned warriors.

The sight of a Murder descending is a grim reminder that in Kamaran, nature is as merciless as it is beautiful.

Actions and Attacks

  • Claw/Bite: r6-k3 Physical

  • Nature's Fury: You are immune to being tamed, socially manipulated, or psychically controlled.

Description

Furybeasts are four-legged predators that hunt in ruthless packs of two or three, using stealth, speed, and brutal coordination to overwhelm prey. One strikes first from hiding while the others close in, tearing the target apart. They are the Wild's core infantry—brutal, ruthless, and cruel—driving fear into any who face them.

They are always born as twins, each pair sharing a telepathic link that forges an unbreakable connection between them. When together, they “sync” in ways that are deeply unsettling to witness—tails swaying in perfect unison, steps falling in exact rhythm, and attacks landing with split-second precision. This unnatural harmony makes them far deadlier than any solitary predator, as they move and strike as though driven by a single mind.

Standing about four feet at the shoulder, Furybeasts are compact and muscular, with coarse fur that blends perfectly into their surroundings. Their large, luminous eyes grant exceptional night vision, while swiveling, pointed ears pick up the faintest sounds. Powerful legs end in clawed, retractable paws built for silent stalking and deadly strikes.

A ridge of bony plates runs along the back of the head, offering protection and breaking up their outline. This natural camouflage shifts with the environment—greens and browns in forests, vibrant patterns in jungles, snowy white in mountains, sandy gold in deserts, and deep, murky tones in swamps.

Relentless hunters, perfectly adapted to the wilds they roam, Furybeasts embody the Wild’s raw and merciless will. Whether stalking alone or—worse—fighting in perfect sync with their twin, they strike with precision, vanish without warning, and leave only silence in their wake.
